Pepsi Ends Feud With French Grocer

After a three-month pricing dispute affecting 10,000 European supermarkets across five countries, PepsiCo and Carrefour have finally reached a resolution. The companies announced the signing of a new contract that will soon restock PepsiCo products in Carrefour's French stores.

Negotiations for the return of snack brands to Carrefour stores in Belgium, Spain, Italy, and Poland are still underway, according to The Wall Street Journal's anonymous sources. The disagreement began at the start of 2024 when Carrefour ceased stocking Doritos, Lay’s, and other PepsiCo products, citing "unacceptable price increases”.
